Headstory: Intelligence-On-Demand. Your AI dream team is here.
The Intelligence Age is no longer a distant vision—it’s here, transforming our everyday lives at a rapid pace. From automating mundane tasks to making sense of vast oceans of data, AI is integrating itself into every corner of our lives. But this isn’t just about delegating routine tasks or automating emails. We’re on the brink of something far more profound: Intelligence-On-Demand. Soon, everyone—from CEOs to school kids—will have access to personal AI agents smarter than most of us. These agents won’t just be tools; they’ll be collaborators, helping us solve problems we couldn’t even grasp on our own.
And that’s just the beginning.
Sam Altman predicts that superintelligence will emerge in a few thousand days. Yes, you read that right—not decades, but years. This accelerated timeline means that the window for preparation is narrowing. We’re talking about an era where anyone can tap into vast, unprecedented cognitive power. Imagine having an AI dream team—a squad of virtual experts tailored to every aspect of your business. Need marketing insights? Your AI has it covered. Need legal advice? Your AI team can simulate the best counsel available. Stuck on product development? AI can design, prototype, and test iterations faster than any human team could manage. Companies are already leveraging AI in various ways—from customer service and data analytics to supply chain management. The possibilities are endless, and the implications are enormous.
For business leaders—whether you’re a CEO, CTO, or CMO—this shift means more than just upgrading tech. It means fundamentally rethinking how your organization is structured. It’s no longer enough to simply have knowledge or the smartest people in the room. What happens when intelligence becomes cheap, abundant, and available to everyone? When the very thing that once set you apart—your knowledge—becomes as accessible as a Google search? What happens when your competition isn’t just the company down the road but a global network of AI-powered teams?
What if the next big innovation in your industry isn't a product or a service, but the intelligence that drives it? Questions business leaders should be asking themselves:
1. What tasks in my business can be handed off to AI agents today? – You don’t need to wait for superintelligence. AI can already handle complex analysis, optimize workflows, and scale customer service. The more you delegate, the more your team can focus on strategic work that truly drives value.
Action: Identify repetitive, data-intensive tasks that consume valuable human resources. Implement AI solutions for tasks like data entry, report generation, or basic customer interactions to free your team for strategic initiatives.
2. How can I use AI to outpace competitors? – AI levels the playing field, but it also raises the stakes. Small businesses can compete with giants, and giants need to move faster. Are you using AI to build resilience and innovation into your operations?
Action: Invest in AI tools and technologies that enhance agility and innovation. Use AI for market analysis to anticipate trends before others do.
3. What skills should my workforce develop to work with AI, not against it? – Automation will change jobs, but it won’t eliminate the need for human creativity and strategic thinking. Your team should be prepared to work with AI, enhancing their roles rather than fearing displacement.
Action: Launch training programs focused on AI literacy and collaborative skills. Encourage your team to view AI as a partner that enhances their capabilities, not a threat to their jobs.
4. What’s my strategy for long-term AI integration? – This isn’t a one-time upgrade. As AI evolves, so must your strategy. How will you stay ahead of the curve and ensure your AI systems grow with your business?
Action: Develop a comprehensive AI roadmap aligned with your business objectives. Allocate resources for continuous AI development and stay informed about emerging technologies. Establish guidelines to ensure ethical and responsible AI use.
To thrive in this new era, businesses need to act now. AI is already reshaping industries, and those who fail to adapt will find themselves struggling to keep up. Build an AI infrastructure that can scale with your needs. Focus on fostering innovation, not just efficiency. Train your teams to work alongside AI, not be replaced by it. Embrace the change rather than fear it. And above all, stay agile.
This is the moment to prepare for an Intelligence-On-Demand future. Your AI dream team is waiting—the question is, are you ready to lead?
OpenAI finally released Strawberry (o1), an AI model that can reason
TL;DR
OpenAI has launched the o1 series of AI models, focusing on reasoning through complex tasks. With improved logic capabilities, o1-preview and o1-mini excel in fields like science, coding, and math. These models can process difficult problems faster and with more accuracy than their predecessors, marking a significant advancement in AI’s ability to "think" before responding. The o1-mini version is cost-effective, making it a great option for budget-conscious developers.

Sentiment
Everyone had been eagerly awaiting this release, and they weren’t disappointed. One of the most common responses was amazement at how OpenAI continues to lead the AI market with updates that push the envelope. With each new model, they manage to move the industry forward.
My thoughts
A frequent criticism of AI models like ChatGPT was their tendency to make mistakes. With the arrival of o1, hallucinations are reduced, and reasoning abilities are sharpened. The fact that we now have a model that can "reason" is unprecedented in terms of its potential impact. OpenAI has only opened the gates slightly, yet it’s already showing its value across various industries and use cases. If this ‘small’ step means every organization can boost productivity and generate more value, imagine the power of the full Strawberry model. According to Sam Altman, o1 is going to get rapidly smarter. Right now, it’s at GPT-2 level, but OpenAI knows how to get it to GPT-4.
Meta just announced a ton of new AI updates at Meta Connect
TL;DR
Meta has unveiled major AI advancements across its platforms, including Meta AI's new voice mode, image capabilities, and AI-generated content for Reels. Notably, Meta is now allowing users to edit photos directly in chat, and the release of Llama 3.2 models promises improved on-device AI performance. The company's push into AR continues with the introduction of Orion, their most advanced AI-powered AR glasses yet.
Sentiment
Many see this as Meta making serious strides to catch up with Apple. Where Apple is more secretive, Meta is showing its cards openly. With each new release, Meta closes the gap, particularly with the capabilities of their AR glasses and AI models. The competition in AI is intensifying, and Meta is positioning itself well.
My thoughts
Mark Zuckerberg’s roadmap is nothing short of impressive. Meta keeps delivering on their vision, and the momentum shows no signs of slowing down. What’s remarkable is how they’ve structured their business model: instead of relying on subscriptions like their competitors, they’re driving innovation while still centred on selling ads. This gives Meta a long runway to continue investing heavily in AI. With their regular stream of updates and the flexibility to monetize through advertising, it’s clear Meta is playing a different game—one they’re built to win.
